Souper Bowl Saturday

Due to COVID, we’re still not ready to bring back the cook-off portion of this event.

This year we ask that you bring a donation of canned soup to the brewery on Saturday, February 12th. Receive a $5 pint* when you make a canned soup donation. While you’re here, order, and enjoy a bowl of chili from the 3 Nations Biergarten Grill.

*One pint per donation.

If you are not familiar with Metrocrest Services, they assist individuals living in Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Coppell and the city of Dallas (75287) in Denton County. Since March 2020 the’ve seen a significant increase in the food pantry.

In addition to soup, items that are always in needs are:

Peanut butter
Canned meat
Canned fruit
Mac & cheese
Cereal
Deodorant
Diapers & wipes
Adult incontinence care (e.g., Depends)
Toothbrushes & toothpaste
Toilet paper
Household cleaner
Feminine care products
Shampoo & conditioner
Body wash & bar soap

Last year Metrocrest Services:

– Kept 1,429 families from being evicted

– Kept 25,638 people fed through visits to their food pantry

– Assisted 1,776 people with workforce development services to help them find a job

– Helped seniors get to their doctors’ offices through 3,527 door-to-door trips
